DSC02932Writing is a passion and a way for me to relax!

I live in Southern California with my very supportive husband and daughters. My family means everything to me and because of their support I decided to take the leap and start publishing my imagination. Sounds funny right? I get it, but the only way I can describe it. When I’m not writing I’m a salon owner/cosmetologist, a photographer (which I can proudly say I have photographed all my book covers) and a soccer coach for my girl’s soccer teams.

I’ve been writing since I was in high school. Only for the eyes of my best friend. Stories only her and I would understand and find fun to read.

I’m dyslexic and finding a love for reading romance novels is what helped me go from reading far below my age level to taking AP English my senior year of high school. Now being an author I love to go and speak about the learning disability and how there is no need to not believe in oneself and from fulfilling a dream they may have, no matter what anyone tells them.

I can’t write with silence around me, usually a radio or television is on, my kids around me or the sound of all the chatter in my shop. Strangely it helps to have a bowl of peanut M&M’s next to me to keep away writer’s block. I love to read all type of romance as long as they have the Happy Ever After!
